boltBridge & Connect

Your first HEX swap takes only a few signatures. This page walks through bridging, connecting, and submitting an intent in less than five minutes.

1. Prepare Your Wallet

  1. Install any Solana, EVM, TON or NEAR wallet with "Sign Message" support

  2. Fund the wallet with a small amount of native gas on your origin chain.

  3. Bookmark app.hex.exchangearrow-up-right to ensure you always use the official UI.

HEX never asks for seed phrases or custodial deposits. If you see such prompts, you are on a phishing site.

2. Bridge via HOT

  1. Open the Bridge module inside HEX and select the origin chain plus the asset you want to trade.

  2. Enter an amount and confirm the transaction in your wallet. HOT Bridge locks the native tokens and broadcasts a proof to NEAR.

  3. Wait for the omni balance update. This usually settles within a minute and shows up as spendable collateral in the UI header.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • If the transaction hash is confirmed but the balance is missing, click Refresh balance next to the asset row.

  • For large deposits, the bridge may require additional confirmations. You can exit the dApp; funds settle automatically.

3. Connect & Review Balances

  1. Click Connect wallet on the Exchange tab.

  2. Approve the signature that authorizes HEX to read your omni balance.

  3. Review the HEX balance widget. It displays the unified omni balance across all deposited assets.

4. Make a Swap

  1. Choose the token you want to sell and the token you want to buy.

  2. Enter the sell amount. HEX auto-suggests a receive quote based on current solver pricing.

  3. Optionally adjust slippage, expiry, or solver routing hints under Advanced.

  4. Press Set sender to confirm which wallet funds the trade.

  5. Sign the intent payload. Funds are reserved inside the Omni Balance ledger until a solver fills the order.

Once filled, your omni balance updates instantly. You can track fills in the activity drawer or via any Omni Balance explorer.
